Juncus Studio, a dedicated landscape architecture firm, is excited to welcome an experienced and talented Landscape Architect to our expanding team. This role involves collaborating with a diverse group of professionals to design outstanding public spaces, parks, trails, and habitat restoration projects across the Pacific Northwest.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Landscape Architect with 8-15 years of professional experience and a degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
• Highly motivated, well-organized, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Expertise in leading and managing complex projects from initial concept through to completion.
• Enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
• Able to produce construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates.
• Can lead / manage construction administration for a project.
• Experienced in public outreach with strong presentation skills for clients, communities, and stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in diverse environments and varied terrains.
• Passionate about native ecosystems and integrating sustainable practices into designs.

Responsibilities:

• Key role in multi-disciplinary project teams, focusing on recreational spaces, habitat restoration, and community engagement.
• Lead and manage projects for public parks, waterfronts, and trails, from master planning to construction documentation to construction administration.
• Oversee junior staff, providing mentorship and career development guidance.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, biologists, planners and other specialists to achieve project goals.
• Contribute to proposals, presentations, and marketing efforts.
